Skype or One to One

I have been a professional Blues ,Modern jazz and session   musician for most of my adult life.  I have a background as a multi instrumentalist from the world; way back when of modern jazz; multi instrumentalist. A modern jazz saxophonist along side piano, guitar for composition etc. Blues harmonica has always been an integral part of me.

The great thing about the Blues Harmonica is that it is not necessary to learn lots of theory. My Methods  are such that you can start out as an out and out Blues player from scratch or  have some knowledge it doesn't matter, there really isn't an advantage one way or the other.

One thing that I sincerely believe in, is you are influenced to various degrees by everyone you come into contact with. I learnt over the years that a one off lesson or a regular lesson depending on circumstances with the right person was worth months even years of wasted time.

Above all else it is about freedom of expression and having fun doing it.

Chicago Blues

Beginner          intermediate       Advanced

Chicago Blues  is a type of blues that is not always but most often electrified. It  tends to be delivered with more edge / attitude and evolved originally as a result  of mass migration from the South to the Urban Midwest City's, looking  for work.

I like to coach Blues harp out from this area, from which you learn how to develop your own brand of Blues. Truth.

One to one Blues Harmonica Tuition. All ways of coaching are valid however it is crucial at times to have face to face tuition either for someone starting out or as a developing player The interaction is vital because the approach to playing is key.

Everyone is different and strategies have to be implemented that cannot be conveyed by any other means. Natural development should be addressed to prevent cloning and discover individualistic endless new ground.
